Gemini AI’s Two-Speed SOL Forecast: $140 This Summer, $500+ by Year-End

Currently, Solana is hovering just above the key support level of $90. The coin is now building its base consolidation phase after losing some of its value in the high phases. Even though the classic read shows that the chart is completely crushed, Gemini’s AI market prediction paints a quite contrasting picture in both ways.

What the Near-Term Case Actually Rests On

With the optimized network stats and bulls-eyed market metrics fed to it, Gemini drew up an even more audacious blueprint of its future growth journey: a near-term goal of hitting between $140-$145 in the next three months and a long-term goal of smashing through the ceiling of $500-$600 by the end of 2026 to reclaim its glorious heights at all-time highs.

The true impetus behind the 90-day wait isn’t about a newfound sense of momentum in price, but rather about on-chain metrics. While the market valuation of SOL has chilled, its developer usage has continued climbing. And its growth was turbocharged by the upcoming network upgrade, Firedancer, which will bring the throughput of the network above what layer-2 rivals can promise. Gemini sees the current sideways stall in the $90 to $95 range as less of an “attempt” to break out that failed (which it didn’t) than as a necessary precursor to an ultimate upside breakout when liquidity picks back up. If the cryptocurrency market inflow turns net positive in Q3, then the AI says that we are looking at a technically sound breakout all the way up to Solana’s $140-$145 range.

A hard rebound from an RSI reading as deep as almost 25 right into oversold territory lends a lot of technical conviction to this prediction. On the downside, there’s just not much room to fall. Either a generalized tightening of financial conditions or a drop-off in activity because of speculative meme-coin trading – a big part of Solana’s own on-chain activity – could trigger broad altcoin margin calls. But Gemini even pins that kind of move to spillovers from a broader market sell off rather than anything unique to Solana, putting a floor on that kind of outcome somewhere around the $50 to $55 range.

The Year-End View: Architecture as the Thesis

But where things get interesting, especially for the medium- to long-term outlook, is Solana taking advantage of a unique “monolithic” design. Rather than building up a layered system like the rest of the Ethereum ecosystem, Solana uses just one computing environment that skirts around those problems and costs altogether. This allows Solana to deal with a staggering amount of transactions from both retail and institutional investors far easier than its competition.

The future outlook of the Solana price at $500-$600 by late 2026 is mainly linked to getting a spot Solana ETF approved which would bring about the same influx of institutional capital that occurred when Bitcoin and Ethereum received their ETFs. If this doesn’t happen, the other big factor for the AI is if there is institutional interest in adopting Solana technology and tokenizing RWAs (real-world assets). The likes of BlackRock and Franklin Templeton have both expressed interest in Solana’s very efficient properties. There is also a chance that the US government could create some sort of strategic digital asset reserve, which would assist in propelling the prediction of $500+ to fruition.

On the downside, periods of dramatic liquidity shortage affect high-beta assets such as Solana. Also, Solana has experienced high volumes of network congestion, and this would incentivize developers to explore alternative solutions. If these two bearish events occur together, we feel that Solana could create an accumulation support area between $45-$60 rather than a breakout.

What the Chart Currently Shows

SOL has formed a solid double bottom on the daily chart around $90. The first signs of recovery from the recent market sell-off should start forming at this critical psychological level. The area of resistance can be found around $100 to $115, which is the upper end of the current very tight range.

If the price breaks above $115 with significant volume, it will indicate that the lengthy period of consolidation has transitioned into Gemini’s immediate target price. The indicators show a cautious uptick in price. The RSI has now crossed back above its signal line for the first time in several months and is currently just below the overbought area, but still well above the previous low of around 30 that was reached during June’s correction.

The current RSI divergence from its historical average indicates that bullish momentum is developing, but is currently not clearly evident in the price action. While there’s not currently a lot of urgency shown in the chart, similarly, there is no confirmation of capitulation. Both SOL’s technical position and Gemini’s long-term outlook (across multiple time frames) correlate with one another; that is, the critical bullish breakthrough in this cryptocurrency has yet to occur until 2026.
